A report from the first big UK event of the year, part of the "Sailjuice Global Warmup" series
Two B14s made the trek to Grafham for the annual Grand Prix handicap event on the 2nd of January. Those that attended were greeted by a cold but sunny 15 – 18 knot breeze.

Unfortunately, it is with much regret that Draycote Water Sailing Club have decided that the best course of action is to postpone the Draycote Dash until February 25th/26th 2012.

Seavolution the suppliers of the B14 and its primary suppliers are pleased to announce that they will be sponsoring the B14 fleet at 4 pursuit events this winter. This is in reflection to the support the fleet has shown through 2011 when the B14 build switched from Ovington Boats to Seavolution with hulls built by Synthesize Group.
The events are:
- Draycote Dash – November 19 – 20th 2011 - Sponsor Marlow Ropes
- Starcross Steamer – January 15th 2012 - Sponsor North Sails One Design (UK)
- Steve Nicholson Memorial Trophy – January 28th 2012 - Sponsor Allen Brothers
- Tiger Trophy – February 4 - 5th 2012 - Sponsor Harken (UK)
Each supplier will be awarding prizes for their designated event and, overall prizes will be supplied by Seavolution, Synthesize Group and Advantage Sails.
The format will be low point scoring with 3 events to count out of 4.
Some of the new Seavolution B14s will be on show participating at the events.
