2027 B14 Australian Championships Notice of Race Released

‍The B14 Association of Australia is pleased to announce that Robert Cordingley Sails will serve as the naming rights sponsor for the 2027 B14 Australian Championships, to be held from 4–9 July 2027 in Townsville, North Queensland.

Robert Cordingley Sails, a sailmaker based in North Queensland, has long been a supporter of the local sailing community. The Association thanks Robert Cordingley Sails for its commitment to the class and to grassroots sailing in the region.

The RCS B14 Australian Championships will be hosted by Townsville Sailing Club, marking the first time the B14 class has travelled to North Queensland for its Australian Championships. For sailors down south, it's the perfect excuse to swap the cold for tropical sunshine — trade the southern winter chill for warm days and a change of scenery in Tropical North Queensland.

The Notice of Race has now been released and registrations are open. Sailors are encouraged to register early to secure their place.

A list of accommodation options is available on the 'Events' page of the Association's website. Competitors are also encouraged to take advantage of the discount offered by the event's accommodation partner, Victoria Street Boutique Hotel, which is offering a 20% discount for competitors staying during the championships.
