When?

This years championships are scheduled to run from 3 to 8 January 2016 with racing from the afternoon of the 4th. So perhaps this is your year to do the Hobart and get your boat down to Tassie in preparation.

More information regarding transport to Tassie will be available soon.

Why should you come?

The Venue, Midway Point Yacht Club is situated on Pittwater, just north from the Hobart Airport, 10 Minutes drive away. Pittwater is similar in nature to Port Dalrymple. its shallow which means flat water and a choc top if you make a slow recovery, minimal tidal flow and not significantly affected by land formations from nearby hills. The sea breeze is priceless and based on the normal weather pattern should be a guaranteed guest on some of the scheduled days racing.
