All you need to know about tuning and maintaining a B14

Details of Class Rules, definitions, interpretations along with details of any changes proposed or pending.

Tuning is what you do to make your boat go faster in different conditons by knowing the best mast rake, how hard to pull each string, where to position the daggerboard etc. It doesn't involve splicing expensive string into funny shapes or how to do overnight epoxy repairs...

The serious stuff. If you have maintenance to do then you may be excused from sailing, usually because you need to refit something that has, or is about to, fall off. This is not bimbling or tuning, this is making sure the boat floats, works and stays that way while out sailing.

You want to know what to splice, how best to avoid sailing at all costs by "just needing to do a bit of work on the boat"? Bimbling and faffing - it is a fine line...
