When we arrived at the designated pack up area I thought it had a good feel to it.

I was surrounded by willing helpers including obliging terminal staff, it was not raining, it was not even windy, the sun shone and the temp mild, just about perfect for our work.

Subsequently, things mostly fell into place, two containers with 12 and 3 boats respectively. Something like 17 masts, 3 spare trolleys, 15 sets of wings, heaps of misc stuff and a system that worked pretty much like clockwork. All done in just over 5 hours!

Sailing Instructions for the 2015 Europeans at Rock are now linked below this article and from the main 2015 Europeans article.

In addition the Social Calendar has been built on with Ben having published the rules for the surfing compo. Best wig and sickest shorts included... (thanks Ben).  And no-one forget the fancy dress theme is "Animated Characters", so whether you are a Minnie Mouse, a Bugs Bunny, a Hulk or and Iron Man get yourself prepared!

And if you haven't entered yet you can help reduce the last minute work of both club and committee by doing that. Entry Form etc. all linked from the main 2015 Europeans article.

Entry list growing all the time, looking forward to seeing you all there.

UPDATED: Sailing Instructions added (linked below).

Entry Form, NOR and Social calendar for the Europeans at Rock, 5-8 September, went out to the class mailing list by e-mail today (and are linked below. Word version of Entry Form available via Google Drive) - this is an event not to be missed! Please get your entry in nice and early to take advantage of the discounted entry fee.

Rock is both a great sailing venue and a great place to simply spend some time - it has the added bonus of being surrounded by sandy beaches, cafes, pastie shops, pubs by the sea, cycle trails, crazy golf, surf beaches, cream teas (more pasties..), as many Rick Stein food emporiums as you can shake a stick at just over the ferry in Padstow etc. etc.

In simple terms it is a great place to sail and there is plenty to do for the non-sailors in your party. Please let us know who is coming here (forum thread)
