Dan Cowin has succeeded in securing a discounted travel arrangement with Brittany Ferries for our fleet members using their cross-channel routes to travel to and from Carnac for the Euros / Worlds within specific dates.

The headline is a 20% discount on daytime ferry travel from 22nd July to  6th August inclusive. It excludes any high-speed services on their routes and the discount doesn't apply to any on board accommodation element of the booking. Other promotional T&C's apply.

These are the best terms and only applicable dates they can offer, but hopefully overall this will deal be of use to those yet to book.

Bookings must be made through the landing page they have set up which is at https://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/b14ewc

With regard to those early birds/organised folk that may have already booked crossings..... some may wish to consider if its worth cancelling and rebooking under this new deal. Brittany Ferries said any cancellations fees for those that have already booked will be detailed on their tickets and may vary depending on the ticket type booked but in most cases it is a loss of deposit.  This may be more or less than the saving from this offer – people will need to check and then calculate themselves depending on their individual circumstances.

In March 2017 when the RS Aero's had a similar arrangement with Brittany Ferries for their summer worlds travel to Carnac that deal stated  that:  'bookings, made previously that have not already been paid, could be cancelled at the loss of the £35.00 deposit and started again at a likely net gain. Unfortunately for any bookings already paid the discount cannot be applied retrospectively'

Update: Hot top from Peter Knight: Once before it was cheaper for me not to cancel  but to amend the booking to a single foot passanger on their cheapest route and time.
