B14 Australian National Titles 2025/6: Day 2 Report
B14 National Championships 2025/26: Day 2
Day two of the B14 Nationals got underway this afternoon in a solid southerly breeze of around 15 knots, with gusts reaching 20–22 knots. The conditions delivered tight racing and some rapid spinnaker legs.
Race 3 started at 14:16, with Snatch (Craig Garmston & Paul Fleming) extending their form to take a convincing win by over a minute. Rocket Ship (Nick Richardson & Natalia Wisniewska) finished second, while Bone Work (Ralph Stanford & Dominik Vogt) secured third, just seconds ahead of RSC Side Effects (Renee & Rob Cordingley).
Race 4 got away at 15:30, by which time the breeze had eased to 8–13 knots and continued to soften as the race progressed. With the wind fading, the race officer shortened the course at the top mark on the third lap.
Once again, Snatch took the win, this time by just three seconds from The Nude (Richie Reynolds & Lissa McMillan), with Rocket Ship completing the podium in third.
Racing resumes tomorrow, 31st, with Races 5 and 6 scheduled.
